Thanks for your interest in working at Morris Tutoring.

There are several details about working here that you should know about before you fill out an application (see “Print and Send Forms” at left):

THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME JOB. Tutors work between two and twelve hours a week, often starting with just a couple of hours per week.

I accept applications on a regular basis, although I may or may not have an immediate need for new tutors.

I value knowledge of subject and the ability to convey that knowledge above formal certification. Obviously, applicants with teaching experience are preferred, but if you have specific subject expertise without a teaching background, training in teaching techniques may be given.

I do not interview everyone who applies. If your experience and profile of subjects you can tutor fit our needs, I will be in touch with you and set up an interview.
